Walla Walla Big Yard Sale Rules


Welcome to Walla Walla Big Yard Sale owned and operated by SL Consulting/Three Doors Down Vintage. This event (hereinafter WWBYS) has been designed to provide an avenue for community members to sell items in a “yard sale” type environment. Please read the General Rules and Regulations for more information on the event.

General Rules and Regulations

  • WWBYS reserves the right to refuse entry to any person, seller, entity, or organization without recourse and to inspect all merchandise.

  • Booth spaces are strictly 10’x10’ and 12’x12’. Additional spaces may be purchased as needed. Prepayment is required.

  • Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. Vendor spaces are assigned on a “first in” basis with no guarantee of a specific space. Vendor placement is arranged by WWBYS management.

  • Set up is from 1pm to 9pm on March 29th. Reservations will be held only until 9pm. All spaces are 100% non-refundable. No rain checks or refunds will be issued. Once completely set up, you are encouraged to cover your booth or display. There will be no setting up on the morning of the event. You may bring in additional items, but please be ready to go by opening.

  • Due to our contract with the WW County Fairgrounds, there will be NO SELLING ON FRIDAY… not even to other vendors. Anyone caught selling on Friday will be asked to leave the building and forfeit their fee.

  • WWBYS hours of operation will be from 8am to 5pm. Sellers must remain set up and operating during these times. Early tear down is NOT permitted. Vendors will be admitted beginning at 6am.

  • Vendors are required to wear their “Vendor” wristband in plain sight during the show at all times.

  • Tables/Chairs – You may bring your own tables and chairs, however you may also rent these items from WWBYS. 8ft tables are $5 each and standard folding chairs are $3.00.

  • When unloading, please do so as quickly as possible and then move your vehicle to the vendor parking area. Please park in the vendor parking area on Saturday as well. All vendors will receive vehicle ID cards.

  • FIRE LANES MUST BE KEPT CLEAR. Vehicles blocking will be towed at owner’s expense.

  • Sellers must use only the spot assigned to them. All sellers must be within the lines that designate their selling space. No selling or vending in walkways. Anyone using a space not paid for will be evicted.

  • Sellers must leave their space clean. Violators will be subject to a $100 fine and ability to sell at future WWBYS events.

  • Vendors will be not sell food/or beverage items (includes bottled water and candy). An exception of fresh produce and commercial/certified canned goods will be allowed. WWBYS will provide prepared food vendors for the event. If in doubt, please contact WWBYS management.

  • Vendors/Customers may NOT bring pets unless they are a registered & qualified service animal.

  • No extension cords may be connected to WWBYS power unless paid for IN ADVANCE. Power usage is $5 for the day.

  • No games of chance or skill are allowed. Raffles/drawings are limited to non-profit groups only and must be pre-approved.

  • No fireworks, silly string, handguns, or dangerous items including flammable gas, liquid or solid is allowed in the building. If in doubt, please contact WWBYS management.

  • Vendors are responsible for making sure that any pictures, books, records, etc. on display are acceptable for children of all ages. Pornographic material is not allowed.

  • Alcohol/Illegal substances of any kind are NOT PERMITTED including marijuana. Vendors found consuming alcohol/illegal substances will be removed immediately. Smoking will be allowed in outside designated areas only.

  • Vendor is responsible for sales tax and all licenses required (if applicable).

  • If vendor brings children, they must stay with said vendor at all times.

  • Soliciting signatures and distributing handbills is NOT PERMITTED at WWBYS. This includes booths or walkways. Anyone not complying with this rule will be removed and denied future admission.

  • Rudeness to customers will not be tolerated. Repeated complaints of rudeness or complaints about exchange or refund policies regarding merchandise will result in permanent removal from WWBYS.

  • Vendors shall comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations of Federal, State, County, Municipal, or other lawful authority pertaining to WWBYS use of the premises, and shall at all times conduct themselves in an acceptable manner.

  • No tattooing or body piercing services allowed.

  • Vendor must regulate the volume of radios, televisions, stereos, and sound amplification equipment so as not to interfere with those occupying adjoining spaces.

  • TERMINATION FOR GOOD CAUSE SHOWN – SALE OF UNLICENSED GOODS: Vendors shall not sell unlicensed, “boot-legged” or counterfeit items. Upon confirming vendors sale of unlicensed or “boot-legged” goods, or upon written notice of a vendors conviction or guilty plea of either misdemeanor or felony charges with respect to violation of any federal or Washington law(s) relating to copyright, trademark, or counterfeiting activity, WWBYS will immediately revoke vendors ability to sell without prior notice, and require vendor to IMMEDIATELY vacate the grounds. There will be no refund in the event of such revocation. Furthermore, such vendor revocation and removal is permanent.

  • Vendor agrees to comply with all requirements of any insurer which are reasonably necessary for insurance carried by WWBYS for its own benefit. Vendor shall neither commit nor omit any act which would result in a cancellation of any insurance policy carried by WWBYS.

  • WWBYS shall not be responsible or liable to Vendor for any loss or damage that may result to Vendor or his property from water, fire, explosion, theft, willful or negligent act of WWBYS or its officers, employees, or agents, or from any other source or cause whatsoever.


  • Penalty for Non-Sufficient Funds is $50.

  • Overnight camping is permitted and must be paid for and arranged with WWBYS.

Be a responsible vendor. Anyone selling items that are considered to be unsafe or inappropriate by the WWBYS Management team will be removed from the property. No fighting or stealing. Any problems or disputes will be handled solely at the discretion of the WWBYS Management team. 


Indemnification & Hold Harmless Agreement

THE VENDOR PARTICIPANT SHALL INDEMNIFY and hold SLC Consulting and its elected and/or appointed officials, agents, employees, and/or volunteers, harmless from and shall process and defend at its own expense any and all claims, demands, suits, at law or equity, actions, penalties, loss, damages, or costs, of whatsoever kind or nature, (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and court costs) brought against WWBYS arising out of, or in connection with, or incident to, the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT, or the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT’S agents, employees, officers, or volunteers participation at WWBYS, and/or the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT’S performance or failure to perform in a manner consistent with WWBYS facility rules and regulations, following WWBYS staff instructions, or any actions while at the WWBYS; provided, however, that if such claims are caused by or result from the concurrent negligence of WWBYS, its elected and/or appointed officials, agents, employees, and/or volunteers, this indemnity provisions shall be valid and enforceable only to the extent of the negligence of the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT; and provided further, that nothing herein shall require the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT to hold harmless or defend WWBYS, its elected and/or appointed officials, agents, employees, and/or volunteers for damages or loss caused by WWBYS/DWWF sole negligence. The WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT expressly agrees that the indemnification provided herein constitutes the contractor’s/vendor’s waiver of immunity under Title 51 R.C.W., for the purposes of this Indemnification and WWBYS participation if the WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT is any type of business entity, whether for profit or not for profit. No WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT is an employee, agent, representative or volunteer of WWBYS based on their WWBYS participation. As independent contractors/vendors, WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANTS are not entitled to compensation, workers’ compensation, insurance or benefits from WWBYS. 


Photo/Video Release

I the undersigned WWBYS VENDOR PARTICIPANT and/or any representative of my WWBYS participation, give permission to have photos/video tapes taken without compensation, during WWBYS activities and used for publicity purposes in any manner by WWBYS.
